David Curtiss

I am an Australian-born U.S. citizen who grew up overseas, loves to travel the world, and settled in Arizona in 2005.

My professional experience spans over 15 years of engineering design of highly available system architecture all around the country - I am currently working as a Principal Systems Engineer for an Enterprise Active Directory team with a specialization in certificate services. Most of my day-to-day centers around AD and PKI maintenance, projects, and improvements.

I have been an engineer for most of my career with a two-year stint as an IT manager. I found that the management experience really helped me see and think more broadly and strategically, and I anticipate wanting to move back into a leadership role by the end of the decade.

Of course, there's more to life than just work!

I am a husband and an uncle, a dog and cat dad, and I dabble in occasional veganism. I am a passionate humanitarian, supporting environmental, animal, and human kindness projects.

I am a U.S. Masters Swimming athlete, a technology enthusiast, an avid science fiction and fantasy reader, and an Eagle Scout.

I started doing volunteer voiceover work at the end of 2024 and am slowly building a portfolio of public domain readings at LibriVox.
